This will not happen until August 2023, so you have some time before your site will no longer receive updates and security patches. You can use this time to plan for migration, or if you prefer, you can continue to use Joomla 3 with support until August!

What Platform Should I Use to Move My Website?

After your Joomla 3 support expires, your site will be open for security risks. Until the end of May 2023, you can have your site transferred to the new Joomla 4 platform at a very attractive price, but  it must be booked in to a date or this offer does not apply. After this time, your site will be done as soon as possible after you requesting it, but will be charged at full cost.

Joomla 3 support will end on August 17, 2023. The Joomla team has announced that all users must migrate to Joomla 4 before that time in order to continue receiving malware and software fixes.
