Some people choose overseas hosting for their domains not realising that this puts them at a disadvantage with Search Engines.

When search engines are presenting the results for the customer, it will put the more local results first. This means that sites hosted in Australia, when searching in Australia will come before sites from overseas. This means less money spent on google ads and other tools to obtain the same results.

Remember this when next you are hosting an account and the price is a little less overseas. Another important point to check on is whether the host you are using is using bulk space on overseas servers, without asking the question, you may be hosting overseas while believing you are local as the host company you went through was a local provider. There is no law that resellers of hosting space must use space purchased only in their own country!
